Infants MicroFestival
On Friday, 18 July the HSCA invites all Infants children to join us for the Infants Micro-Festival - all the fun of a festival packed into an hour to celebrate the end of the school year.
At the HSCA Micro-Festival the kids will have:
Crafts for the children to make and take home
Face glitter to get that festival look
Bubble boogie - music and dancing while you try to pop as many bubbles as you can!
Ice pops for cooling off
Games
Non-uniform day
This event takes place in the school day.
To cover the cost of these activities we kindly request £5 per child. Please make payment through our shop at hsca.org.uk/shop/p/inf-microfestival
Please note this HSCA event is open to all Infants children and is separate to the Year 2 Leavers Party that the school is organising on Monday 21st July.
Year 6 Leavers Festival
Calling all HJS Leavers! Time to celebrate the end of year at the Year 6 Leavers Festival!
Take on the inflatable obstacle course with 10ft mega slide, or challenge your mates to see who can kick the fastest football goal or score the most baskets in a minute.
Get the festival look with hair colour spray and glitter tattoos, then strike a pose on the red carpet and take photos with your friends*. Indulge your sweet tooth at the Sweet Shop and cool off with an ice pop.
To cover the cost of these activities we kindly request £6.50 per child. Payment can be made on our shop at hsca.org.uk/shop/p/yr6-festival.
When purchasing tickets you will be asked to give your permission for your child to take part in the various activities - a completed permission slip must be filled out in order for your child to take part. All activities are optional.
This event takes place in the school day.
*Photos will be taken by teachers only and in accordance with permissions and school policy.

HSCA take on the Twilight Runway Challenge
Help raise money for Hook Schools by taking part in a sponsored run / walk / ride / scoot in a truly fantastic setting - on an airport runway!
This September, children from Hook Schools are taking part - do you want to join them?
How to Take Part
1. Book your place on Twilight Runway Challenge at www.twilightchallenge.co.uk. The entry fee goes to The Community Matters Partnership, a charity who provide support to schools and other community groups by organising corporate volunteering days.
2. Tell us you’ve signed up, which route you intend to do (3K, 5K,10K), and how you’re going to do it. Walk/Run/Cycle/Scoot (email events@hsca.org.uk)
3. Share our JustGiving page (www.justgiving.com/campaign/hsca-twilight-24) with your friends and family and ask them to sponsor you.
4. Get practicing!

Gift Sale for Father's Day & Other VIPs
In June we'll be running our Gift Sale where children can select special, pre-bagged gift(s) for Dad, Step-Dad, Grandad or any other V.I.P.!
The Juniors sale will be on Thursday, 12th June.
The Infants sale will be on Friday, 13th June.
During the school day, your child can visit our ‘pop-up shop’ with their class. HSCA team members, parent volunteers, and prefects (at Juniors) will show the children all the gifts available and help them to purchase what they need. All gifts are £2.50 and a variety of items are available to help prevent sibling duplicates. Participation is entirely optional.
If participating please send your child to school with £2.50 per gift required in a named envelope on the day of the sale.
Bake Sale
Find us after school on the Juniors playground to grab treat at our Bake Sale!
We’ll have lots of homemade and lovingly-bought cupcakes, cookies, brownies and more. Allergen-friendly options will be available too!
